![]() I saw this topic on the day oldschool poster it, and being a fan of the series, I suddenly had an interest in actually paying attention to this games' release. Hate to bump an old thread, but I wanted to ask something relevant. The game isn't worth going against any ideals you have against them. ![]() As someone who argued the DRM wasn't that bad prior to release, I find it pretty oppressive in practice, and highly annoying. (A long shot, I know.) If you don't like Ubisoft's policies, and don't like DRM, then avoid the game. ![]() So, following that logic, if I DON'T support 6 or Ubisoft maybe I can hold out false hope that they decide the property isn't a financially viable property and sell it off to someone who CAN get it right. I have 1-4 thanks to GOG and I play all of them pretty regularly, but I'm to the point where I'm satisfied with what I have and rather wouldn't support Ubisoft. On the other hand, I strongly dislike Ubisoft and I also strongly dislike that they got their hands on the HoMM property in the first place. On one hand, I love HoMM and even though I wasn't impressed with the expansions for HoMM4, or the HoMM5 game either, I'd still like to support it, so maybe they'll eventually get it right. LiquidOxygen80: Tbh, I'm not sure if I want it or not.
